Answer delay
Answer delay sets the number of times your BT Xenon 1500 will
ring before the answering machine picks up your call. The default
setting is 6 rings. You can change this setting from between 2-9
rings or to time saver mode.

Remote access
Ensure that you have Remote Access turned on and that you
have set a Remote Access PIN first if you want to use this feature.
When switched on, you can call in from another phone to listen
to your messages and operate your answering machine. You are
asked to enter your system PIN so that other people cannot ring
up and listen to your messages. To change your System PIN, see
page 38.

delay is set to answer before the
voicemail service. Therefore, the
ring delay should be less than on
the voicemail if you want the
Xenon 1500 answer machine to
