Call screening

You can listen while your answering machine takes a call.
This lets you identify the caller and decide whether to
take the call yourself.

Call screening

1. When the answering machine takes a call, the caller’s

details are displayed (providing you have a Caller Display
service). 

2. Press 

SCREEN

to listen in to your caller leaving a

message. If required press 

UP

or 

DOWN

to adjust the

volume.

3. Press 

on the handset to speak to your caller.

Recording stops automatically.

Answering machine settings

The Answer Machine settings menu lets you set the:

Answer Mode – Answer & Record or Answer Only
outgoing message.

Answer Delay – set the time your BT Diverse 6450
answering machine takes to take your calls.
