If you want to insert a pause into a
telephone number you are storing in
your directory start the number and
where the pause is needed press the
MENU
button until ‘insert pause’ is
displayed, press
OK
and the pause is
added and stored with the number.
To set a pause before dialling
You can insert a pause to allow your
switchboard time to get a line before
your Diverse 4016 dials the number.

pause that is inserted after
pressing the
RECALL
button.

To switch from pulse to tone
dialling
If your switchboard uses pulse
dialling but tone dialling is
required during a call, you can
switch the call to tone dialling.
During your call:
Press the
Menu
options button.
Press the
DOWN
navigation
button until the display shows
Temp.Tone
.
Press the
OK
options button.
Tone dialling is set for the
duration of the call.
