DESCRIPTION :
Professional power amplifier
1. HANDLES
Those handles are used for easy transportation.
2. POWER
BUTTON
Use this switch to switch your power amplifier on.
3. « CLIP » INDICATOR
Any illumination of the red clip indicates a state of overmodulation (
distortion at extremely high volumes ). In this case, check the
output signal of your mixer and turn down the input gain control
Please keep in mind that the power amplifier cannot correct any
distortion.
4. CHANNEL 1 VOLUME CONTROL
In stereo mode, this potentiometer allows the adjustment of the
channel 1 input level. ( left channel )
In Bridgemode, this potentiometer allows the adjustment of the two
channels in the same time
5. “PROTECTION” INDICATOR
When this indicator lights, that means the power amplifier is in the
protection mode. Switch off the device and find out the problem.
This power amplifier is protected against over heat, over load,
short circuit, DC, softstart
6. CHANNEL 2 VOLUME CONTROL
In stereo mode, this potentiometer allows the adjustment of the
channel 2 input level. ( right channel )
In Bridgemode, this potentiometer is disabled.
7. “POWER” INDICATOR
This indicator lights when the power amplifier is switching on
8. “SIGNAL” INDICATOR
The illumination of the led only indicates a safe operation.
9. AIR
EXIT
This part is the air exit. Don’t obstruct it.
10. AC SOCKET & FUSE
Plug the AC power cord into any standard AC outlet. Before
plugging this cord in, be sure the voltage of AC outlet is correct.
The fuse is used to protect your power amplifier from different
kinds of ac problems. If the power amplifier is “on” and nothing
lights, please verify the fuse compartment. If fuse is broken, please
read it and change with a new one of same size and value.
11. CHANNEL 1 XLR INPUT
This XLR input is a balanced input. Connect this input to the left
output of your mixer.
12. CHANNEL 2 XLR INPUT
This XLR input is a balanced input. Connect this input to the right
output of your mixer.
13. CHANNEL 1 LINK SOCKET ( ALL SA SERIE, EXCEPT SA 150 )
This balanced socket is used to link another amplifier.
14. OPERATION MODE SELECTOR
This switch is used to choose the operating mode of the power
amplifier :
Mode stereo : 2 inputs ( channel 1 and 2 ) and 2 outputs are used.
Mode parallel : 1 input ( channel 1 ) and two outputs are used
Mode bridgé : 1 input ( channel 1) and 1 input ( output 1 ) are used
( all SA serie, except SA 125 & SA 150 )
15. INPUT SENSITIVITY SELECTOR
This selector allows to choose the input sensitivity : either 0.775V,
1.0V or 1.4V
16. HIGH PASS FILTER SELECTOR
This switch is used to cut low frequency under 30Hz ( infrasound )
17. GROUND SELECTOR
If you have hum or noise in your speaker, put the selector in “On”
position.
18. CHANNEL 1 TURNLOCK OUTPUT
Connect this turnlock output to a speaker. The branching is +1, -1 (
except in bridge mode where the branching is +1, +2 )
19. CHANNEL 2 TURNLOCK OUTPUT
Connect this turnlock output to an another speaker. The branching
is +1, -1
20. AIR ENTRANCE
This part is the air entrance. It’s used to refresh the power
amplifier. Don’t obstruct this part.
21. CHANNEL 2 LINK SOCKET
