DESCRIPTION :

Professional power amplifier

1. HANDLES

Those handles are used for easy transportation.

2. POWER

BUTTON

Use this switch to switch your power amplifier on.

3.   « CLIP » INDICATOR

Any illumination of the red clip indicates a state of overmodulation (
distortion at extremely high volumes ). In this case, check the
output signal of your mixer and turn down the input gain control
Please keep in mind that the power amplifier cannot correct any
distortion.

4.  CHANNEL 1 VOLUME CONTROL

In stereo mode, this potentiometer allows the adjustment of the
channel 1 input level. ( left channel )
In Bridgemode, this potentiometer allows the adjustment of the two
channels in the same time

5.   “PROTECTION” INDICATOR

When this indicator lights, that means the power amplifier is in the
protection mode. Switch off the device and find out the problem.
This power amplifier is protected against over heat, over load,
short circuit, DC, softstart

6.  CHANNEL 2 VOLUME CONTROL

In stereo mode, this potentiometer allows the adjustment of the
channel 2 input level. ( right channel )
In Bridgemode, this potentiometer is disabled.

7.   “POWER” INDICATOR

This indicator lights when the power amplifier is switching on

8.   “SIGNAL” INDICATOR

The illumination of the led only indicates a safe operation.

9. AIR

EXIT

This part is the air exit. Don’t obstruct it.

10. AC SOCKET & FUSE

Plug the AC power cord into any standard AC outlet. Before
plugging this cord in, be sure the voltage of AC outlet is correct.
The fuse is used to protect your power amplifier from different
kinds of ac problems. If  the power amplifier  is “on” and nothing
lights, please verify the fuse compartment. If fuse is broken, please
read it and change with a new one of same size and value.

11.  CHANNEL 1 XLR INPUT

This XLR input is a balanced input. Connect this input to the left
output of your mixer.

12.  CHANNEL 2 XLR INPUT

This XLR input is a balanced input. Connect this input to the right
output of your mixer.

13.  CHANNEL 1 LINK SOCKET ( ALL SA SERIE, EXCEPT SA 150 )

This balanced socket is used to link another amplifier.

14.  OPERATION MODE SELECTOR

This switch is used to choose the operating mode of the power
amplifier :
Mode stereo :  2 inputs ( channel 1 and 2 ) and 2 outputs are used.
Mode parallel : 1 input ( channel 1 ) and two outputs are used
Mode bridgé : 1 input ( channel 1) and 1 input ( output 1 ) are used
( all SA serie, except SA 125 & SA 150 )

15.  INPUT SENSITIVITY SELECTOR

This selector allows to choose the input sensitivity  : either 0.775V,
1.0V or 1.4V

16.  HIGH PASS FILTER SELECTOR

This switch is used to cut low frequency under 30Hz  ( infrasound )

17. GROUND SELECTOR

If you have hum or noise in your speaker, put the selector in “On”
position.

18.  CHANNEL 1 TURNLOCK OUTPUT

Connect this turnlock output to a speaker. The branching is +1, -1 (
except in bridge mode where the branching is +1, +2 )

19.  CHANNEL 2 TURNLOCK OUTPUT

Connect this turnlock output to an another speaker. The branching
is +1, -1

20. AIR ENTRANCE

This part is the air entrance. It’s used to refresh the power
