3.13 AD Check Mode 2 ([9] key):
Required on the Production Line
Be sure to provide power supply of 9.0 ±0.1V [Insert resistant 1 Ω ±5% (2W and more)]
for the inspection from AA battery.
Connect the adapter and battery fixture at the same time, and press the [9] key to
display < Figure 3.13-1 >.
Check if the input power supply voltage and temperature are detected correctly.
Output the "H" of P79 (BAT_AD_ON/OFF) at 500 msec before AD check.

The LCD displays the power supply voltage and temperature in hex notation by
pressing the key below (see <
Figure 3.13-2 >).
The LCD also displays "O" or "X" as a judgment according to the result value.
For European/North American models:
[OK] or [ENTER]
Proceed to the display of VAD1 or VAD2 by pressing the [OK] or [ENTER] key.
Acceptable range:
HTEMP (HEAD_TEMP): 10ºC to 40ºC (A5H to 5EH)
PTEMP (PCB_TEMP): 10ºC to 50ºC (A6H to 47H)
VAD (VBT_VOLTAGE): Specified power supply voltage 7.0V to 9.5V (5DH to 8AH)
