9.1.4.3 ADF Performance Test

(Function code 08)

Function

The machine counts the documents fed by the automatic document feeder (ADF) and displays
the count on the LCD for checking the ADF performance.

This function is applicable to the models with ADF.

Operating Procedure

(1) Set documents. (Allowable up to the ADF capacity.)

The "DOC. READY" appears on the LCD.

(2) Press

and

keys in this order in the initial stage of the maintenance mode. For models

without numerical keypad, enter 0 and 8 in this order using the , and

keys.

The machine feeds the documents in and out while counting them and displaying the
current count on the LCD as shown below.

(3) After counting all documents, the machine shows the final count. To return the machine to

the initial stage of the maintenance mode, press the

Stop/Exit

key.
