3. JOINING THE VESSEL
When joining the vessel it is recommended that the following procedure be
carried out.
ITEM ACTION REFERENCE
1. Check for presence of gas
2. Turn on gas supply P. G1 & G2
3. Turn on battery master switches P. H1
4. Carry out routine daily procedure P. A2
4. LEAVING THE VESSEL
When leaving the vessel for any prolonged length of time, it is recommended
that the following procedure should be carried out.
ITEM ACTION REFERENCE
1. Turn off the gas supply at source P. G1 & G2
2. Turn off battery master switches P. H1
3. Check bilges
4. Ensure hatches and large windows are secure
NOTE: In cold weather the engines must be drained or protected with anti-
freeze. For details see Perkins engine manual.
