InseRTIng The baTTeRIes
1 . Slide open the BaTTery CoMParTMenT cover, following arrow on cover .
2 . Insert 2 aaa batteries, following the polarity indicators inside the cover .
3 . To close the compartment, push the cover closed and slide it securely into place .
UsIng The wIne PReseRveR
1 . Slide the Wine Preserver straight down onto the neck of the open bottle
of wine so that the rubber VaCUUM SeaL SToPPer is snug .
2 . To activate the pump, press and hold the TeMP/Day button for 3 seconds .
3 . you will see 1, 2, 3 and then 4 zeros blink on the illuminated LCD screen .
When the pump stops, the LCD backlight will shut off and the screen will
revert to the ambient temperature in Fahrenheit .
4 . over time, air will slowly enter the stoppered wine bottle . The Wine Preserver
will automatically engage to keep the most air out of the bottle at all times .
Note: to save battery life, you may turn the Wine Preserver on and off manually
so it doesn’t automatically engage.
5 . an automatic counter tracks how many days the Wine Preserver has been on
a bottle . Press and release the TeMP/Day button to view the number of days .
Press again to view the ambient temperature .
6 . When the Wine Preserver is removed from a bottle, press and hold the TeMP/
Day button for 3 seconds to turn it off .
Important! the wine pump will only work if it

s upright. If it

s tipped to an angle
of 45º or greater, it will deactivate the pump.
