The delay function enables the user to set the delay time that should elapse before the device
is restarted after it has been switched off due to a power failure or a voltage
fl
uctuation that is
above the permissible maximum voltage of 260V.
The default mode for the VRG is Undelay. In this mode the VRG will return power to your
equipment if the voltage stabilizes after 6 seconds. For most applications this is the preferred
mode to minimize down time of the equipment during strong
fl
uctuations.
For applications running electrical motors, in particular compressors for air conditioners and
refrigerators it is recommended to engage the Delay function. This will set the reset time to 180
seconds allowing the motors to power down safely and come to a complete stop before the
power is returned. After 180 seconds if the input power is lower than 260V range it will return
power to the connected equipment.
Attention:
Please note that the device does not switch off automatically if the voltage drops
below 140 volts. Bei einer Eingangsspannung von unter 140 Volt wird auch die Ausgangsspan-
nung abfallen.
