Table A-7 lists the safety and EMC (electromagnetic compatibility) specifications for which the
SilkWorm 3800 is certified.
Caution
Use only optical transceivers that are qualified by Brocade Communications
Systems and comply with the FDA Class 1 radiation performance
requirements defined in 21CFR Subchapter J, and with IEC 825-1. Optical
products that do not comply with these standards may emit light that is
hazardous to the eyes.
Warning
Do not attempt to replace the RTC battery. There is danger of explosion if
the battery is incorrectly replaced or disposed of. Contact your switch
supplier if the clock begins to lose time.

This switch may have more than one power cord. To reduce the risk of electric
