8. The maintenance report, with recom-
mendations if any, shall be filed with
the owner or with the designated party
responsible for the system.
9. The service personnel shall date and
sign the Semi-Annual Inspection &
Maintenance Log contained in this
manual as an indication that the
inspection has been completed.
Twelve Years
Maintenance must be done on the fryer
every twelve years. The maintenance must
be performed by certified service person-
nel as per NFPA 17A and include the fol-
lowing:
1. The wet chemical extiguishing agent
must be removed and discarded.
2. The cylinder needs to be hydrostati-
cally tested.
NOTE: Certified service personnel can gen-
erally be found locally through authorized
suppliers of fire extinguishing equipement in
yellow pages or call your Broaster Distribu-
tor for sources.
3. If the cylinder shows no signs of rup-
ture or distortion, recharge the Fire
Suppression system in accordance
with NFPA 17A guidelines.
