If wiring connection is being made through the
back of the camera base frame, mark wire egress
location.
6.
If using plastic anchors, drill a 3/16” hole at the
marked locations. If anchors are not being used,
drill a 1/8” hole in the mounting surface. Drill a
1/2” (minimum) hole for cables.
7.
Install the camera back frame using plastic
anchors and #8 screws.
8.
Fee external wiring for power and video into the
base frame through the hole in the rear, or
through the top or bottom conduit knockout
holes. If the top knockout is used, the wire must
feed through the top cover, which will hang from
the wire until the final step of installation.
9.
For 12Volt DC models:
Attach 12VDC power source using 2.1mm barrel
power connector provided; the striped lead is for
12VDC+ (red). Connect the leads with butt
splices or wire nuts.
For 24Volt AC models:
Attach incoming 24VAC power to connector
below label.
10.
Turn on power and adjust the camera’s field of
view by loosening the white knurled nut below
the camera bracket and rotating the camera to
the desired position.
11.
Position cover over base frame, approximately
3/4” above the bottom of the frame. With light
pressure, push the cover toward the base and
down until the cover is seated against the bottom
of the frame and the cover is secure.
12.
Replace top cover plate in position and tighten
