RF-103 installation instructions

• Filter should be replaced every 5 years
(or sooner if pressure drop occurs).
• Do not use with water that is
microbiologically unsafe or of unknown
quality without adequate disinfection
before or after the system.
•
Check filter every six months for leaks.
• Filter life and/or capacity is dependent upon
filter system, water quality and amount of
water filtered.

Brita
®
Filter RF-103
The Brita® Inline Icemaker filter used with this filter
system has a limited service life. Changes in taste,
odor, and/or flow of the water being filtered indicate
that the filter should be replaced.
Expected life of this filter is 5 years. Filter may need
to be changed sooner due to sediment in your water

Be sure to turn off the cold water supply until leak issue is resolved.
Installation Requirements
Operating Pressure: 30-100 PSI (207-690 kPa)
Temperature Range: 40-100°F (4.4-37.7° C)
Flow Rate: 0.5 GPM ( 1.9 lpm)
•
Make sure the flow direction is
correct.
• Disconnect adapter fitting by
pushing the collet inward and
pulling the fitting out.
• Remove the adapter fitting from the
filter and discard. (See diagram).
• Cut the end of the tubing squarely.
Check the end of the tube to make
sure it is smooth with no ridges or
nicks. If needed cut the tubing again.
• Push tubing through the collet and
all the way into fitting. The length
of the tubing should extend 11/16”
into the fitting.
• Check for leaks.
