PREPARE THE FIREBOX
Remove the three screws that secure the
burner to the hearth plate, two at the base of
the front leg and one at the top of the rear
sloping plate. Separate the burner from the
hearth plate.
Prepare the gas supply noting the connection
point on the right of the burner.
Position the hearth plate centrally in the
fireplace opening with the rear edge touching
the rear of the fireplace opening. Mark the 2
fixing hole positions. Remove the hearth plate,
drill and plug the holes. Replace the hearth
plate and secure with 2 screws. Alternatively the
hearth plate may be fixed in place by using
silicone sealant.
GAS CONNECTION
MANUAL CONTROL VERSION
Cut a 70mm length of copper pipe and attach it
to the isolating tap supplied. Position the pipe/
isolating tap in line with the slot in the hearth
plate. Shape and cut the gas supply pipe and
ensuring the gas supply pipe is clean internally
connect to the isolating tap. Refit the burner and
connect the gas supply. Secure with the three
screws (see diagrams C.1 and C.2).
AUTO REMOTE CONTROL VERSION
Note the position of the isolating tap and
disconnect it. Shape and cut the gas supply pipe
and ensuring the gas supply pipe is clean
internally connect to the isolating tap. Refit the
burner and connect the gas supply. Secure with
the three screws removed previously. Connect
the battery (see diagrams C.1 and C.3).
TO FIT THE CONTROLS COVER HEAT SHIELD
The Control Cover Heat Shield is designed to fit
all models of Fire Front except Pascal. To
ensure that it is fitted correctly, please follow
