kPa). See page 104 for test procedure.

Check battery as follows:
• Look for loose or corroded terminals.
• Verify that battery voltage is 12.2-13.5
volts.

Check for intermittent opens or shorts to
ground in MAP sensor circuit.

1. Check for proper TPS operation, if
equipped.
2. Verify that throttle linkage is not sticking,
binding or worn causing high TPS voltage.
