3.    Camera Connection

 

 

  Basic Connection   

1. 

Connect the CCTV camera to the video input connector of the video 

Server using a BNC Connector.

 

2. 

Connect the supplied power cable to the video server and plug it into 

a power outlet.

 

 

3. 

Connect the video server to a switch using an Ethernet cable.    The 

Ethernet  cable  should  meet  the  specs  of  UTP  Category  5  and  not 

exceed 100 meters in length.

 

4. 

To  attach  external  devices,  such  as  sensors  and  alarms,  connect 

them to the extension I/O terminal block.
