NOTE
To ensure that the kettle is correctly filled, always check the water level with
the kettle positioned on its power base.

NOTE
You can always manually switch off the kettle by switching the on/off switch to
the off (up) position.
6 Always ensure the kettle is switched off before removing from or replacing
on the base unit.
1 Plug the kettle into a suitable power outlet. Ensure that the on/off switch
is in the off position (up) .
2 Remove the kettle from the power base and open the lid by pulling the lid
pull towards the handle. Pull back until the lid rests on its hinge.
3 Observe the level indicator marks on the water gauges to prevent over or
under filling. Fill the kettle with no more than the maximum amount
(MAX), and no less than the minimum amount (MIN) of water.
4 Close the lid fully to ensure safe operation of the kettle.
5 Ensure the kettle is correctly seated on the power base. Switch the kettle
on by pressing the on/off switch down. The switch will illuminate and the
water will start to boil.
When the water reaches boiling point it will automatically switch off and
the illumination will also turn off.
