Simply add your favourite ingredients to the blender, press the CAKE
button and wait! Perfect results from yorkshire puddings to sweet

SMOOTHIE
Smoothies (fruit and
yoghurt or fruit and
milk based drinks).
Fruit or vegetable
drinks
Make drinks with a base of naturally soft or ripe fruits/vegetables
(strawberries, tomatoes, etc.) or foods that have been softened through
cooking. Don’t blend hard vegetables such as carrots unless cooked first.
Add liquid to achieve the desired smoothie consistency. Always remove
stones from fruit or vegetables.

PUREE
Puree fruit,
vegetables. Make
your own baby food.
Smooth soups and
pates.
To puree food, liquid is an essential part. Some fruits are high in water
content therefore will need less or none added at all. Add stock, yogurt,
milk or water a little at a time through the pouring hole until the desired
consistency is reached.

DIPS
Traditional/flavoured
mayonnaise
Hollandaise sauce,
salad cream dressings,
salsa, hummus,
guacamole
Add liquid ingredients first then follow with solid ingredients to ensure
consistent blending.When chopping fresh herbs, garlic, onion zest, spices,
etc. make sure that the blades and jug are completely dry.

SHAKES
Milk based drinks.
Ice cream shakes, ice
cream coffee shakes,
frothy drinks for the
kids.
This function is intended for use with milk based drinks which have
other flavouring added to it. Try adding ice-creams, fruit puree, dessert
toppings or milk shake flavours. Don’t use this button to try and cruch ice
(use the Ice Crush button instead).

ICE CRUSH
Ice slush drinks.
Crushed ice cubes for
all kinds of drinks.
For best results defrost ice cubes slightly before crushing. For home-
made (small) ice cubes, fill the jug up to 70ml mark and add 00ml
water. For shop-bought (large) ice cubes, add 1 ice cubes to the jug and
add 00ml water.

CHOP
Coffee beans, nuts,
biscuits, etc.
Add approx 100g (oz) at a time to ensure an even texture. Make sure
any hard shells have been removed before grinding.

BLEND
Thicken creams,
blend fruit juices.

a smooth consistency

PULSE
Chopping nuts, herbs,
bread crumbs, biscuit
crumbs etc.
The Pulse button allows precise control of the duration and speed of
blending. Press and hold the Pulse button to start processing, and release
it to stop.

Fast and slow buttons
These buttons allow you to manually adjust the blending speed. Simply
press the + or – button repeatedly while the blender is running to
change the speed.

Stop button
Press at any time to stop your blender.
