NOTICE
Do not touch the touch-sensitive area when setting up the device!
Do NOT touch the touch-sensitive area during the automatic time signal reception or when making any
manual settings! Touching the touch-sensitive area will activate functions and which will block all other
functions.
6 Establishing the power supply (mains operation)
1. Put the DC connector into the connection socket of the device.
2. Put the mains plug into the power outlet.
3. The device is energized directly.
7 Automatic time setting
After the power supply was established, the clock will automatically search for the radio signal. This
will take approximately 3 to 8 minutes to finish this process.
If the radio signal is received correctly, the date and time will be set automatically and the radio control
signal icon turns on.
If the clock fails to receive the time signal, go ahead with the following steps:
1. Press and hold the DOWN button for approx. 2 seconds to re-initialize radio signal reception.
2. Is the device still not receiving the signal, the time must be set manually.

load information on page 2).
8 Setting up a Bluetooth connection
NOTICE! To use the Bluetooth function, a Bluetooth-enabled terminal device (e.g. Smartphone,
computer, etc) is needed which is not included.
1. Enable Bluetooth function on the Smartphone and switch to Bluetooth settings.
2. Press and hold the BLUETOOTH button on the device for approx. 3 seconds until a signal tone
sounds. The Bluetooth function indicator lights red.
3. Select 'Bresser WakeUp' from the list in the Bluetooth settings of the Smartphone. The connection
will be set up. After a successful connection, another signal tone will sound and the function indic-
ator will light yellow. The RC alarm clock can now be used as a loudspeaker for the Smartphone.
