Fitting Seat Locker to seat legs
Fit and use
Note: Two removable seat fixtures are normally required for each seat. It is important that the seat
legs are set to the identical rail width where the seat is to be fitted. Both Seat Locker need to be
aligned parallel to each other in the rail.
1. First remove M10 nyloc nuts and washers from the front sliding stud assembly with a 17mm wrench.
Then remove the bolts and washers from the rear of the unit using an 8mm allen key (Fig 1).
2. Place the seat on the Seat Locker, ensuring that the seat is placed facing towards the front of the
vehicle. Fit sliding studs through the front seat leg bracket holes (Fig 2). Then fit the rear seat leg
bracket position to the appropriate fixture’s hole (Fig 3).
Note : Depending on the seat design, the
third bolt may not be required.
3. Replace all washers, nuts and bolts and loosely fasten with an 8mm allen key at the rear of the
lockable (Fig 4) and 17mm wrench at the front (Fig 5). We recommend tightening the rear bolts
first to ensure correct positioning of the seat. Finally tighten M10 nyloc nuts and bolts with a torque
wrench to a recommended torque of: 35-40Nm (18-22lb/ft)
