12 Decommissioning, dismantling, disposal
Once the unit has been decommissioned it should be broken down into its
constituent parts and disposed off according to the type of raw material. Ensure that
recyclable materials (steel, aluminium, etc.) are separated from one another at the
recycler.
Hazardous and environmentally-hazardous substances (such as oils, greases, etc.)
must be disposed of separately in the appropriate containers.
Alternatively, the unit can be sent back to your dealer who will carry out the disposal
in the correct way and according to the regulations.
