Company, 400 Donald Lynch Blvd., Marlborough, MA 01752, USA.
ASTM laboratory accuracy requirements for the thermometer only (not including

a lens filter) in the display range of 36ºC to 39ºC (96.8ºF to 102.2ºF) for infrared

thermometers is ± 0.2ºC (± 0.4ºF), whereas for mercury-in-glass and electronic

thermometers, the requirement per ASTM Standards E 667-98 and E 1112-00 is

±0.1ºC (±0.2ºF).
