Setting the time
Turn the time setting button at the back of the
clock so that the clock hands turn
clockwise
.
bcs
This clock has a «battery check system»
(bcs), which constantly checks the battery's
voItage leveI. When the battery’s energy
drops below a certain level, the second hand
moves in 2-second intervaIs. This indicates
that the batteries are inserted, the second
hand will move in 2-second intervals for
8 seconds (4 times). If the second hand
moves normally thereafter, the batteries have
enough voltage.
Do not dispose of empty batteries in
the household waste. Take them to
special local collection sites.
reflex control
A wave of the hand in front of the clock
(operating distance ca. 40 cm/16 in.) shuts off
the alarm and activates the 8 minute snooze
feature. The snooze feature can be activated
a total of ca. 4 times = ca. 30 minutes. The
dial illumination can be activated
anytime
by
a wave (operating distance ca. 10 cm/4 in.),
even when the alarm is not turned on. The
movement of the hand should be diagonal
and slightly above the green infrared sensor.

Guarantee
This product is guaranteed for 1 year from
date of purchase against material and/or
workmanship defects. These will be
eliminated either by repairing or exchanging
the appliance as we may choose. All other
claims, including for damages, are excluded.
Service under the guarantee does not affect
its expiry date.
Claims only valid in countries where product
is officially sold and if accompanied by a
stamped and dated guarantee card.
Claims arising out of the sales contract with
the vendor are not affected by this guarantee.
For UK only:
This guarantee in no way affects your
rights under statutory law.

To maintain your unit at peak performance
it is strongly recommended that you have
it checked every two years by an approved
Gold Seal Service Centre.
In the unlikely event that you experience a
problem with this product, Braun (UK) Ltd.
promise to resolve the problem within 5
days (excluding weekends) of receipt by
an approved Gold Seal Service Centre.
The method of resolution of the problem
will be at Braun (UK) Ltd's discretion.
