8.1 GENERAL CLEANING RULES
-
DO NOT use water jets to clean the machine.
-
DO NOT use detergents containing alcohol or ammonia or use abrasive sponges to clean the machine.
- USE specific detergents for cleaning coffee machines or dishes only.
- The chemical detergents used for cleaning the machine and/or the system must be used with care
to prevent the deterioration of the components and the environment (degradability > 90%).
- Clean the grinder-dispenser constantly and check on the state of wear of the grinders.
- Clean the Hyperwand steam wands accurately immediately after use, to prevent outbreaks of bacte-
ria or the formation of deposits than can clog the holes of the diffuser, and also to prevent other types
of previously heated drinks from altering the taste of the drinks being heated.
WARNING: Incorrect maintenance and cleaning, using non-softened water, may damage the internal
parts and lead to unexpected interruptions to the water flow and unexpected jets of liquid or steam,
with serious consequences!
