6 Initial use and operation
Take the device out of the package and remove all packaging material. A battery
compartment, which is secured by a screw, is located at the back of the device.
Remove the screw, open the battery compartment and insert two 1.5V AAA
batteries. Make sure the polarity of the contacts is correct. Then close the battery
compartment.
Note: Please use only 1.5V AAA batteries and not rechargeable batteries, since a
low voltage of 1.2V may result in device malfunction!
