Complete User Manual

E5 4G

The TalkBack application is included, offering spoken

feedback and visual settings specially designed for
visually impaired users.

When you enable it for the first time, a tutorial will
guide you through the basic settings:

Speech volume:

Lets you adjust the volume of speech

in relation to multimedia volume.

Use pitch changes:

Activates/deactivates the use of

lower tones when a key is pressed.

Keyboard echo:

This option speaks typed keys aloud.

Speech is activated/deactivated when the screen is
switched off.

Speak when screen is off:

This option activates/

deactivates voice notifications when the screen is off.

Use proximity sensor:

Activates/deactivates the

proximity sensor to turn off speech whenever you want.

Shake to start continuous reading:

Lets you activate the continuous reading

function by shaking your device.

Speak caller ID:

Activates/deactivates the option of speaking aloud the name of the

person calling.

Vibration feedback:

Activates/deactivates vibration feedback when an option is

selected.

Sound feedback:

Activates/deactivates sound feedback when an option is selected.

Focus speech audio:

Activates/deactivates the option of reducing multimedia

volume during a conversation.

Sound volume:

Lets you adjust sound volume in relation to multimedia volume.

Explore by touch:

Activates/deactivates the touch explore function, which enables

you to navigate through your smartphone using gestures, select options by pressing
once, and accept them by pressing them.

Automatically scroll lists:

Activates/deactivates automatic scrolling of lists.

Single-tap selection:

Activates/deactivates the option to select an option with a

single tap when selected beforehand.
