16. Traveller G Flash Heads

For detailed information on the operation, flash tube replacement and general
maintenance of any flash head refer to the appropriate operating instructions
supplied with the head.

Ten types of flash heads are currently available for use with ESTIME 3000
Generators. All listed flash heads, except the Linear head, use the standard ‘S’
series reflectors and accessories as used on Bowens Prolites and ‘S’ Type
Quadmatic flash heads.

3000GH Flash Head (BW-2902)

a).For use on all mains supply voltages.

b).Maximum modelling power 300 Watts. The modelling lamp must be matched to
the supply voltage.

c).The head is fitted with the E.S. (screw) type of lamp holder and the 250 Watt
Halostar lamp made by Wotan or Osram is recommended although 275 Watt
photoflood lamps may be used if required.

3000GHF 240 Volt Flash Head (BW-2909)

a).A Fan Cooled Flash Head for use on 220/240 volt mains supply only.

b).Maximum modelling power 650 Watts.

c).The Head is fitted with a two pin plug-in lamp holder and a separate Pyrex glass
dome is fitted over the modelling lamp for safety. Recommended Halogen bulb -
Thorn P2/16 Hairpin Longlife type.

3000GHF 117 Volt Flash Head (BW-2908)

a).A fan cooled Flash Head for use on 117 volt mains supply only.

b).Maximum modelling power 300 Watts.

c).The head is fitted with the E.S. (screw) type of lamp holder and the 250 Watt
Halostar lamp made by Wotan or Osram is recommended although 275 Watt
photoflood lamps may be used if required.

3000GHL 240 Volt Linear Flash Head (BW-2912)

a).

For use on 240 volt mains supply only.

b).Maximum modelling power 650 Watts.

c).The head is fitted with a linear lamp holder. Recommended halogen bulb -

P2/10 (BW-2345).

3000GHL 117 Volt Linear Flash Head (BW-2912/A)

a).

For use on 117 volt mains supply only.

b).Maximum modelling power 300 Watts.

c).The head is fitted with a linear lamp holder.

3000GHF2 240 Volt 2x3000Ws Flash Head (BW-2913)

a).

A fan cooled flash head for use on 220/240 volt mains supply only.

b).Maximum modelling power 650 Watts.
