SSH
SSH Stands for Secure Socket Shell. It
provides secure encrypted
communications between two hosts (or host and terminal) over an insecure network.

SSH configuration screen requires first that the remote host connection details
such as Server IP or DNS name, Port Used and Username. You will have to specify
the name of the application program you want to start. Depending on your
requirements, you may have to add to the command line, the display option.
The 5600 supports SSH version 1 and 2. You can force manually to protocol
version to use, otherwise you can leave it as automatic.
VPN PPTP
PPTP stands fro Point-to-Point Tunneling Protocol. PPTP is a protocol that
allows expanding corporate networks through private "tunnels" over the public
Internet. This kind of protocol is known as a virtual private network (VPN).
