Battery Replacement

NOTE:

To obtain a replacement battery, contact Boston Scientific using the

information on the back cover of this manual.

To remove the battery:

1.

Press and release the power button

to turn OFF the Programmer.

2.

If connected to AC power, unplug the AC power cord.

3.

If connected to the optional stand, unclip the stand and remove it.

4.

Place the device screen side down on a soft cloth.

5.

Press and hold the battery release button, then slide back the battery
cover as illustrated in Figure 30 Battery Compartment on Underside of the
Programmer on page 47.

6.

Release the battery retaining strap as identified in Figure 31 Replaceable
Programmer Battery (representative image) on page 48.

7.

Lift out the battery using the black tab attached to the left side of the
battery.

WARNING:

When accessing the battery, ensure that power to the Programmer is
turned off. Do not touch the connector terminals in the battery
compartment while removing or replacing the battery because an
electrical charge is present.
