BOSS HD Equalizer Tilt System

SAFETY INSPECTION CHECKLIST

Ensure batteries are clean (free from corrosion/

Ensure connections are tight and clean

Electrical / Wiring Harnesses

Check for pinches or pulls in wiring (over full
 

range of seating system)

Ensure connections are secure

Actuators (where applicable)

Ensure actuator rod ends are secure and pinned
Ensure no interference/sticking during system
 

operation (over full range of motion)

Inspect for excessive noise or grinding


Drive Lockout Switch

Ensure DLO(Drive Lockout) functions correctly

Hardware Tightening & Adjustment

Mounting hardware (seating system to base)
Ensure all nuts and bolts are secure
Inspect all pivot points are operating smoothly, 
 

freely & secured (do not overtighten)


Glide Blocks and Track Maintenance

Ensure channel is free from dirt/dust/grime

As needed, lightly lubricate slide channel using a
 

non-lithium/non-aerosol cleaner (eg.

 

AGS-Sil Glyde Brake Lubricant)

WARNING: 

Check that both actuators are operating.  If the seat starts tilting to one side during operation 
and/or the push bar is not square during operation.  This is indicative of a single actuator failure.  
In the event of a single actuator, do not use the tilt seat function and get serviced as soon as possible.
