Installing the Wire Harness

DANGER

Vehicle engines contain moving parts and can
become extremely hot, capable of causing
severe burns and serious bodily harm.

Shut off the engine and allow it sufficient time
to cool down before installing this kit.

DANGER

Vehicle batteries can cause dangerous
electrical shocks that could lead to severe
burns or death.

Disconnect your battery before installing this
kit. Remove the negative cable first, then
remove the positive cable.

Note:

Apply dielectric grease to all electrical

connections.

Note:

Some vehicles require a turn signal relay

kit. Contact your Authorized BOSS Dealer for more
information.

Note:

If your vehicle requires a headlight adapter kit,

refer to

Installing the Headlight Adapters (page 13)

.

1.

Disconnect the wire harness plug from the back

obstructions.

9.

Drill a 3 cm (1-1/4 inch) diameter hole through
the firewall on the driver side of the vehicle.

Note:

The hole should be in an easily

accessible area.

10.

Insert the split rubber grommet into the hole.

11.

Pull the plow controller connector, black/red
