WARNING!
Use extreme caution unpacking this machine. Some components are very heavy and will require
additional people or mechanical handling equipment.
NOTE:
All references in this manual to the left or right side and front or back of the log splitter are from the operating
position only. Exceptions, if any, will be specified.
Unpacking tools needed:
1. Wrench 8mm
2. Scissors or knife
Step 1:
Use a 8mm wrench to remove the four bolts on the metal crate, put aside the crate top, then remove the
cardboard box. See FIGURE 2.
Step 2:
Remove all loose parts included in the container, e.g. operator’s manual, log trays, mounting brackets, axel, and
hardware kits.
Step 3:
. Remove the beam assembly on the crate bottom.
NOTE:
DO NOT
remove the strap securing the hydraulic hoses to the beam at this time, until you do all the assembly
procedures.

NOTE:
DO NOT
discard the packing materials until you have carefully inspected and satisfactorily operated the tool.
