Cleaning the heat exchanger
Notes
■
Clean the heat exchanger several
times a month if you use the dryer
more than twice a week.
■
If there is debris in the heat
exchanger, this will increase the
amount of time required for drying
and will compromise the drying
results.
1.
Allow the dryer to cool down and
place an absorbent cloth beneath
the maintenance flap.
Note:
Residual water may leak out.
2.
Open the maintenance flap fully.
3.
Turn both locking levers towards
each other.
4.
Remove the top cap from the heat
exchanger.
5.
Remove the heat exchanger.
6.
Flush water through the heat
exchanger from all sides to
completely remove all fluff.
Caution!
There is a risk of damage to the heat
exchanger.
Only use water to clean the heat
exchanger, and do not use any hard
objects or objects with sharp edges
to remove the fluff.
