4.6 Connecting the appliance
Connecting the water inlet hoses
1.
Connect the water inlet hose for hot water (red) and
cold water (blue) to the appliance.
2.
Connect the water inlet hose for hot water (red) and
cold water (blue) to the faucet (26.4 mm = 3/4").
If there is no faucet for hot water, only connect the wa-
ter inlet hose for cold water. Cover the hot water con-
nection on the appliance in order to protect it from dirt.
Tip:
To protect against dirt, use a 3/4" end cap on the
hot water connection of the appliance.

Open the faucets carefully and check that the connec-
tion points are tight.
Water outlet connection types
This information is intended to help you to connect this ap-
pliance to the water outlet.
NOTICE:
When draining, the water drain hose is subject to water
pressure and may come loose from the installed connec-
tion point.

Secure the water drain hose against unintentional loos-
ening.
Note:
Observe the draining heights.
The maximum draining height is 39 in. (100 cm).

Secure the connection point
with a (0.94–1.57 in. (24–
40 mm)) hose clamp.
Washbasin
Fix and secure the water
outlet hose with an elbow.
Plastic pipe with rubber
sleeve or gully
Fix and secure the water
outlet hose with an elbow.
