The active oxygen treatment is less effective if the drum is dirty. Run the
Drum Clean
programme before using the appliance for the first time, and
regularly thereafter.

Have you loaded too much laundry? Do not exceed the maximum load.

Leave the door and detergent drawer open so that any residual water can
evaporate.
There is detergent resi-
due on the laundry.

Some phosphate-free detergents contain water-insoluble residue.
