Tire pressure sensor position for programming
¶
Place TPA 200 and tire pressure sensor on a
flat work surface.

The best results are achieved if the tire pres-
sure sensor is placed at a distance of 2 cm to
5 cm in front of TPA 200.
i
The programming of a tire pressure sensor can
be disrupted by the surrounding tire pressure
sensors. Surrounding tire pressure sensors
must be removed during the programming.
5.6 Repair
With this function a retest of the tire pressure
sensors can be carried out after a repair (e.g. a
tire pressure sensor has been replaced).
1. Switch on the TPA 200.

in the case of operation sequence " None ").

If tests on vehicles have already been
performed and saved, and if the operation
sequence is set for "Job code", "Registration"
or "Model Year", these vehicles can be se-
lected again and tested.

Select Year
is displayed.

During the work flow " Job code ", the job
number of the vehicle to be tested can be en-
tered "
Registration " before the tire pressure
sensor test with or and then confirm
with and the license number of the vehicle
to be tested can also be entered.

Front Left >Read Sensor
is displayed.
The following menu items can be selected:
Menu item Description
>Read Sensor Tire pressure sensor is read out.
>Req. Repair Select only if the tire pressure sensor
is visibly faulty. A message about re-
pair is made in the test protocol. The
tire pressure sensor is not read out.
>Skip Wheel The selected tire pressure sensor is
not read out.
>Cancel Audit Return to the main menu. No data is
saved.
7. Hold the TPA 200 close to the tire valve.

Front Left >Read Sensor

8. Confirm with .

Tire pressure sensor is read out and sub-
sequently displays the data of the tire
pressure sensor, e.g.

In case the tire pressure sensor could not be
read out, repeat the search

Read out the tire pressure sensors of all the
wheels according to the indicated sequence.

The measurement data is saved.

The individual tire pressure sen-
sors can be marked with , showing
whether they should be repaired. The
message about repair is then made in
the test protocol. Order numbers or
license numbers can also be edited.


