The rinse aid container can be
corroded by dishwasher softening
salt.

To ensure that
spills out of the softening salt
from the rinse aid container, the
softening salt must be filled into
the water softening salt
reservoir immediately before the
program starts.

Fill the water softening salt
reservoir completely with softening
salt. The water in the reservoir is
displaced and flows away.

Fit and close the lid of the
reservoir.

reservoir and remove it.
Switch off water softening

When using for the first time: fill
the reservoir completely with water.
If the refilling salt display bothers you,
for example if you use a combined
dishwasher detergent with a salt
component, you can switch off the
display.
Remark
To avoid damage to the appliance,
only switch off the water softening
in the following cases:
s The water hardness is maximum
times 21 °dH and you use a
combined dishwasher detergent
with salt substitutes. You can use
combination detergents with salt
substitutes
