4.2.4
Behavior after ”Drive off” or a fault
P-0-0004 Halting mode with drive off
(changeable in phase 2)
You may choose between:
”Halting in shortest possible time” (S-0-0138)
(dec.: 0)
”Halting with ramp” (S-0-0260)
(dec.: 1)
”Controlled halting by master”
(dec.: 2).
The torque will remain active for the duration of the ”Waiting time drive off”
(S-0-0207).
4.2.5
Behavior after removal of the external drive enable signal:
P-0-0125 Control word, external enable
(changeable in phase 2)
You may choose between:
“Halting without setpoint control”
(dec.: 0)
“Effect depends on P-0-0004”
(dec.: 1)
The torque will remain active for the duration of the ”Waiting time drive off”
(S-0-0207).
CAUTION
Uncontrolled halting of the motor!
If you select the ”halting without setpoint control” option for
P-0-0125, the drive torque will be removed as soon as the ”Drive on”
signal or the external enable signal become low.
4.2.6
Holding brake
S-0-0206 Waiting time drive on
(changeable in phase 3/4)
S-0-0207 Waiting time drive off
(changeable in phase 3/4)
”Waiting time drive on” accounts for the time required for releasing the brake,
thus preventing excessive wear:
The ”Drive on” and ”Drive enable” signals will first activate the torque, de-
pending on P-0-0505 (Plug brake enable delay).
The drive will not follow the setpoint input before the ”Waiting time drive
on” has elapsed.
”Waiting time drive off” prevents the axis from jerking caused by the removal
of the torque while the holding brake has not yet engaged.
CAUTION
Strong wear of the holding brake!
The holding brake is not a service brake and may only be engaged
when the motor has come to a stop. Therefore, the motor must reach
a speed of n=0 before S-0-0207 has elapsed.
