Set_Param

(SAP61) transfers parameterization data to the slave. In addi-

tion to parameters applicable to the entire bus, this data also contains slave-

specific information (e.g. drive operation mode) which has previously been

stored in the master’s parameter set.
For the structure of the parameterization data, refer to section 3.3.1.

Check_Config

(SAP62) instructs the slave to verify the configuration data.

In this case, the slave checks whether or not the actual configuration

matches the desired configuration. For this purpose, the device type, format

and length information as well as input and output data ranges (cyclic tele-

gram structure) must be identical.

Next to the information to be exchanged in cyclic operation, the configuration

data contain the scope of the input and output data areas as well as specifi-

cations for the consistency of the data.
For the structure of the configuration data, refer to section 3.3.2.
