basic braking resistor, which can also be extended according to the project

planning manual.

Auxiliary components

Accessories for connecting modules such as HAS01, including power bus,

mounting material as well as necessary items. Necessary items include

mounting flanges (HAS07) and cables for commissioning (RKB0001).

Cable connections for safety zone

module HCZ01

In the variant “safety-capable axis” the self-contained servo-hydraulic linear

axis comes with safety zone module HSZ01. This module has to be placed

as close as possible to the drive controller in the control cabinet. Connect the

HSZ01 with the optional S4 card of the control section via two Safe Motion

bus cables. Safe Motion bus cables are available in various lengths.

5.2.3

Technology function PFC

The technology function for operation of a self-contained servo-hydraulic line‐

ar axis is made available by the firmware extension package “Position Force

Control” (PFC). The following packages are available:

FWS-MLDSYX-PFC-01VRS-D0-MP18 (R911373370)

●

FWS-MLDSYX-PFC-02VRS-D0-MP20 (R911342056)

With the firmware extension package PFC the self-contained servo-hydraulic

linear axis can be operated in closed-loop position and force control. The po‐

sition is controlled using a position encoder that is mounted to the cylinder or

an encoder in the axis, and force is controlled via pressure sensors or force

sensors in the cylinder chambers. The controllers are activated according to

the alternating control principle. Apart from alternating control, the self-con‐

tained servo-hydraulic linear axis can also be operated in pure position con‐

trol.
