Field data acquisition (FDA)

System event (events) are classified into 4 categories according to their
severity:

Stop 0 (event of highest severity)
●
Stop 1
●
Warning
●
Message (event of lowest severity)
The diagnostic number has to be interpreted as follows:
●
B4XXX: Events of category “message”
●
B5XXX: Events of category “warning”
●
D4XXX: Events of category “Stop 1”
●
D5XXX: Events of category “Stop 0”
●
XXX: Number of the event (HEX...FFF)
Every diagnostic message that is related to an event consists of a diagnostic
message number and a diagnostic text.
Example: 404E: Oil temperature exceeds alarm level
Before corrections are made in the form of parameter changes, first the phys-
ical causes of the error should be searched for and examined. Increasing alarm
or warning thresholds or suppression cycles before the actual cause has been
eliminated can lead to damage to the servo-hydraulic actuator.
This type of parameters should be optimized exclusively by Bosch Rexroth or by
authorized and qualified personnel of a specialized company that was author-
ized by Bosch Rexroth, see
Chapter 2.4 “Qualification of personnel”
on page 12.

Field data acquisition (FDA)
The servo-hydraulic actuator is provided with a field data acquisition feature,
which stores relevant data on the inserted microSD card. This is no Condition
Monitoring, since no models are available for wear, service life or similar. Thus,
component protection, online error monitoring and diagnostics are no integral
part of field data acquisition.
Field data acquisition senses and stores process data to acquire the loading of
axis components and to support Bosch Rexroth Service in troubleshooting.
Since the memory is limited, it is executed as circular buffer. In addition, data
are partially compressed before being stored. The data can only analyzed after
having been copied from the microSD card to a PC. The data cannot be sent by
the customer. The data volume increases continuously (ca. 100...200 MB).
Field data acquisition and the procedure described above do not impose any
risk regarding network safety.
The customer/operator of the system agrees

that within the framework of servicing according to the operating instruc-
tions Bosch Rexroth may read on site the data processed in the servo-
hydraulic actuator and process these data.
●
to have maintenance and service as described in the operating instructions
carried out by Bosch Rexroth or skilled personnel authorized by Bosch
Rexroth.
