Safety precautions
▶ Electrical work may only be carried out by a qualified
electrician.
▶ Carry out electrical work in accordance with the
standards and local regulations which apply.
▶ Install the connection so that it is fixed and has the
correct phase sequence.
▶ Ensure that the total current does not exceed the value
stated on the data plate.
▶ Observe documents and connection diagrams of the
installed components.
▶ Ensure that an emergency stop device (heating system
emergency stop switch) is installed in accordance with
the regulations of the relevant country.
▶ In systems equipped with with three-phase current
consumers, the emergency stop device must be
integrated into the safety chain.
▶ Ensure that a standard-compliant circuit breaker and in
accordance with EN DIN 60335 is installed for all-pole
disconnection from the mains power supply. If there is
no circuit breaker, you will need to install one.
▶ Before opening the device, disconnect all poles of the
heating system via the circuit breaker. Secure against
unintentional reconnection.
▶ Size the cables according to the ambient conditions and
installation method.
▶ Do not use the green/yellow (gn/ge) protective
conductor as a control cable.
▶ Group and fasten together all common cables (e.g. with
cable ties) or strip the cable sheath short, to prevent the
risk of voltage flashes between 230 V and extra-low
voltage cables due to a wire accidentally coming loose
at the terminals.
▶ Observe the safety instructions in the documentation of
the control unit and the modules used.
▶ Integrate contact of the overfilling safety device into the
safety chain or interlock of the heat source.
▶ In the case of three-phase current consumers
(e.g. burners, boiler circulation pumps), appropriate
on-site switching devices must be connected upstream
of the current consumers and fuse-protected.
▶ Observe the legend in this document!
Remark
The schematic diagrams show non-binding examples for the
connection to a control unit or a heat source.
▶ Observe local conditions and regulations.
Connection to the external interlock terminals of a heat source is not
permitted!
