Safety Instructions

• Before commissioning this device please read the instruction manual carefully.
• Please keep these instructions, if possible, the carton with inner packaging! The device is intended exclusively for private and not for commercial use!
• Always remove the plug from the socket whenever the device is not in use, when attaching accessory parts, cleaning the device or whenever a disturbance 
occurs.
• Switch off the device before. Pull on the plug, not on the cable.
• In order to protect children from the dangers of electrical appliances, never leave them unsupervised with the device.
Consequently, when selecting the location for your device, do so in such a way that children do not have access to the device.
• Take care to ensure that the cable does not hang down.
• Test the device and the cable regularly for damage. If there is damage of any kind, the device should not be used.
• Do not repair the device yourself, but take this to nearest authorized service station.
• Keep the device and the cable away from heat, direct sunlight, moisture, sharp edges and such like.
• Never use the device unsupervised! Switch off the device whenever you are not using it, even if this is only for a moment.
• Do not use the device outdoors.
• Under no circumstances must the device be placed in water or other liquid, or come into contact with such. Do not use the device with wet or moist hands.
• Should the device become moist or wet, remove the mains plug from the socket immediately. Do not reach into the water.
• Use the device only for the intended purpose.
• The Appliances are not intended to be operated by means of an external timer or separate remote-control system

Special safety notes

• The baking surfaces get very hot. Touch the handles only.
• Put the unit down onto a heat-resistant surface or mat.
• In order to prevent heat from building up, do not put the unit directly underneath a cupboard. Ensure that there is enough space all around.
• Beware of steam coming out when you open the baking section.
• The bread can burn, so never use the sandwich toaster near or below curtains and other inflammable materials!
• A risk of fire and electrical shock exists in all electrical appliances and may cause personal injury or death. Please follow all safety instructions.
• If the supply cord is damaged, it must be replaced by the manufacture or its service agent or a similarly qualified person in order to avoid a hazard.
• The temperature of accessible surfaces may be high when the appliance is operating.
• This appliance is not intended for use by persons (including children) with reduced physical, sensory or mental capabilities, or lack of experience and knowl-
edge, unless they have been given supervision or instruction concerning use of the appliance by a person responsible for their safety.
• Children should be supervised to ensure that they do not play with the appliance.

 Do not operate the Grill Toaster in the vertical position, this is for storage only!

Before using your appliance for the first time

• Clean the plates using a damp sponge rinse and dry carefully.
• After applying a fine coating oil to the plates , close the appliance and plug it in.
• The indicator light will come on.
• Notice: When your Grill Toaster is heated for the first time, it may emit slight smoke or odour. This is normal with many heating appliances. This does not 
affect the safety of your appliance.

Before using the appliance for the first time, peel off any promotional materials and packaging materials, and check that the cooking plates are clean and free 
of dust. If necessary, wipe over with a damp cloth. For best results, pour a teaspoon of vegetable oil on to the non-stick plates. Spread over with an absorbent 
kitchen towel and wipe off any excess oil. 

Preparing your grill toaster

• Close the Grill Toaster and plug it into the wall outlet,You will find the red power lights indicating that the Grill Toaster has begun preheating. As this time, you 
can be the right Thermostat Knob to set the temperature control to your desired setting: “MIN” for light coloured food and “MAX” for darker food. At first, try 
a setting in the middle. You may later adjust it lower or higher according to your preference. Different foods will also cook up differently.
• It will preheating approximately 3~5 minutes to reach baking temperature, the green ready lights, the Grill Toaster is ready for use. 

To Use as a Contact Grill

• Set the Grill Toaster Temperature Control to your desired setting. At first, try a setting in the Max.
You may later adjust it lower or higher according to your preference. 
• Prepare the burgers, boneless pieces of meat and thin cuts of meat or other foods as directed and place it onto the bottom cooking plate.
