5. Turn the table right side up and check to see that the extension are even with, or slightly below the router table top.

WARNING!

In no case are the extensions to be higher than the surface of the router table top. Such a condition can cause

interference with the workpiece during routing, which can result in possible serious injury.

6. lf the extensions are higher than the top surface of the router table top, loosen the screws holding the extensions, and

reposition them so they are even with or slightly lower than the top of the router table top.

7. SECURELY TIGHTEN all fasteners at this time.

8. To double check, slide a flat piece of wood along the top of the table in all directions. Make sure that the edge of the wood

moves freely without contacting the edges of the extensions.

MOUNTING ROUTER TO THE ROUTER TABLE

ALWAYS UNPLUG ROUTER BEFORE MOUNTING (This table will accept 6 in. diameter base routers) This router table is

equipped with clamps for securing the ma1ority of routers with different base thicknesses and designs on the market The

base or frame of the router being mounted should have a flat surface without any gaps. All clamps MUST contact and secure

the metal portion of the router base or frame.

1. With the router table right side up, insert four (4) long round head square neck bolts, through the four recesses in the

table top, as shown in Figure 5. (HINT: Once. the bolts have been inserted into the bolt recesses on the table top, it will be

helpful to tape over the bolt recess openings. The router will be mounted with the table turned on its top. By taping over the

bolt recesses with the bolts inserted, the likelihood of the bolts failing out as the table is turned on its top will be minimized.)
