3. Before commissioning
3.1 Transport
Check the device for transportation damage. Report any damage to the
manufacturer immediately.
3.2 Setting up the device

Place the device on a level and flat surface.

Check the compatibility of the device with the existing mains
voltage.

The socket in the room in which you connect the BD VAC IV
Electric must have a grounded cable and be protected by a
residual current circuit breaker (30 mA).

Plug the power cable into the power socket on the rear side of
the device and connect the device to a suitable mains outlet.

Your BD VAC IV Electric is now ready for operation.

Optional: Plug the foot pedal cable into the socket provided for
it on the rear side of the device
4. Use of the BD VAC IV Electric
4.1 Creating a vacuum
Important "Foot by foot" = "Pillow by pillow"
Two independent circuits ensure that shaping in the pillows can be performed
individually and separately. The vacuum is generated by pressing the On/Off
switch once only.
An electric vacuum pump is built into the housing; it must be connected on one
side via the power supply to the housing connection on the rear, and on the
other via a standard wall socket. Use only the supplied power supply and cable
for this purpose.
Always protect all electronic components against soiling and water.
