The light effect EAGLE EYE is especially suitable for applications on stage and in discothèques. It create multicolored light beams which rotate
to the rhythm of the music. The light is controlled via an integrated microphone..
The EAGLE EYE is not suitable
for continuous operation.
An uninterrupted operating time of max. 1 houris permitted. If the permitted
operating time is exceeded, the unit may be damaged. In this case no guarantee for the unit and no liability for subsequential damage to other
units or to persons will be assumed.
SAFETY NOTES :

The unit is suitable for indoor use only. Protect the unit against humidity and heat (admissible ambient temperature range 0-40°C).

The unit heats up very much during operation. To avoid burnings, do not touch the unit during operation, and after switching off let it
cool down for some minutes before touching it.

The heat being generated in the unit has to be carried off via air circulation. Therefore, the vents of the housing must not be covered
with any objects.

Do not insert or drop anything into the vents! This could result in electric shock.

Do not set the unit into operation, or immediately disconnect the mains plug from the mains socket if:
o
damage can be seen at the power supply unit or mains cable,
o
a defect might have occurred after a drop or simi lar accident,
o
there are malfunctions.
The unit uses lethal mains voltage (230V~). In case of improper action a shock hazard may occur. The unit must in any case be
repaired by authorized, skilled personnel.

Adamaged mains cable must only be replaced by the manufacturer or authorized, skilled personnel.

Never pull the mains plug out of the mains socket by means of the mains cable.

If the unit is used for purposes other than originally intended, if it is mounted or operated in the wrong way or not repaired by
authorized, skilled personnel, there is no liability for possible damage.

For cleaning only use a dry, soft cloth. Do not use any chemicals or water.
REPLACING THE LAMPS :
Important!Prior to installing resp. replacing the lamps disconnect the mains plug in any case! As halogen lamps become very hot during
operation, at first let the lamps cool down after operation of the unit (cooling down time at least 5 minutes) before replacing them.
Screw off the screws of the lamp compartment (two screws at the upper side of the unit) and open it. When replacing the lamps, carefully draw
the two old lamps out of the holders. To avoid impurities of the new lamps by skin grease, they should not be touched with the fingers but with a
soft cloth. Insert the new halogen lamps place the pin sockets of the lamps into the lamp holders. To finish, tightly close the lamp compartment
again with the screws.
MOUNTING :

Fix the unit via the mounting bracket with a support for light radiating units or a stable mounting screw at the desired place (traverse of
a stand for light radiating units or horizontal bar).

For aligning the unit loosen the setscrews at the mounting bracket, adjust the desired inclination of the unit, and tighten the setscrews
again.
Important!To avoid a heat accumulation in the unit, the mounting place must be chosen so that sufficient air circulation is secured during
operation. The vents of the housing must not be covered.
OPERATING :

When the unit is set into operation for the first time, a slight smoke and/or smell may develop. This is not a sign of malfunction.

Connect the light effect unit with the mains plug to a mains socket (230V~/50Hz). With connection to the power supply the unit is
switched on the two lamps light

Adjust the desired volume at the music system.

If the eagle eye don’t move, please increase a little bit the level of the music.

For switching off the unit disconnect the mains plug.

WARRANTY CONDITIONS
BOOST equipment is covered by a 1-year warranty on parts and labour except for lamps.
The following rules apply from the day the equipment leaves the factory:
The date on the invoice is considered to be the date the warranty begins.
Only companies approved by BOOST are allowed to work on the equipment. Warranty becomes void when other service technicians open the
equipment.
During warranty period, defective equipment must be sent by pre-paid mail in the original box.
BOOST will return the goods by pre-paid mail during the first year of warranty; thereafter the mailing cost is to be paid by the recipient
Potentiometers have a limited lifetime and are not covered by the manufacturer for more than normal use.
