2. INSTALLATION: GENERAL FEATURES
TYPE AND POSITION OF CONNECTIONS
See "Technical Data" at the beginning of this instruction manual.
2.1 GENERAL REQUIREMENTS
The installation, modification or repair of the appliance must be carried out according to current
regulations by a specialised engineer.
These appliances must be installed with sufficient ventilation to prevent the formation of excessive
concentrations of harmful substances within the premises in which they are installed.
The required flowrate for fresh air for combustion is 2 m
3
/h per kW of calorific output.
These units must only be placed centrally or against a wall. The latter must be of non-combustible
materials or, if not, must be covered with an appropriate, good insulating and non-combustible
material.
The manufacturer certifies that the packing conforms to directive 94/62/CE of 20.12.94 and requests
that the final recipient respects the directive with regard to recycling or reuse of the packaging
materials.
Specifically for induction:
Do not position adjacent to sources of heat or where there is a risk from steam or splashes.

Attention, Table top induction must not be put onto a closed base and the technical
cupboard of free standing induction should not be used for storage.
Table top units should only be installed on:
- Fixed frame with undershelf and 4 adjustable legs.
- Mobile frame with 4 wheels (2 braked) and an undershelf.
- Wall bracket.

Attention, The appliance must on no account be installed near certain sources of heat, such
as: solid tops, open burners, deep fat fryers, planchas, bain maries, …etc.
2.2 HANDLING
The appliance should only be handled with specialised lifting equipment.
Should the appliance need to be transported, it must be done on its original pallet and must not be
stacked under any circumstance.
If the appliance is to be moved without a pallet, it should be carried and not dragged.
2.3 UNPACKING
Before installation, remove the strapping from the appliance. The individual parts are not bolted down.
Remove plastic film from the stainless steel parts before heating.
