Tone:
Sets the cutoff frequency of a passive low pass filter at the output of the “preamp”. When the
knob is fully clockwise, there is no effect from the filter. As you turn the knob counter-clockwise, the
filter will cut more treble frequencies.
Transformer:
Controls the amount of dynamic range of the “power amp” circuit. It switches between
two secondary coils of the output transformer. The Rich mode gives you a more compressed and
gained up sound, while Bold mode provides more headroom and punch to your tone.
Expression Jack:
Accepts a 1/4” TRS cable from a standard expression pedal. This controls the gain
of the “preamp”. The heel-down minimum gain can be set with an internal trimmer.
Runs on 9-18VDC.
Gain:
Sets the maximum gain. Best paired with expression.
