Transfer and fasten the lower door hinge to the
opposite appliance side; after you have un-
screwed the hinge pin and inserted it from the
other side of the hinge. Screw in the feet accord-
ingly.

Put the appliance back in the upright position. Put
the appliance door on and fix it in the intended
position.

Transfer and fasten the upper door hinge on the
opposite appliance side.

Connect the terminal strip (1) to the display (2).

Put on the top cover and fasten it.

Check the door rubber seal for an exact fit and, if
necessary, bring it into the correct position.
Check that the door is optimally aligned vertically and
horizontally so that the door can open and close
smoothly.
Startup / Operation
Prior to first use
CAUTION:
After transport, the appliance should be left standing
upright for four hours before connecting to the power
supply. Nonobservance could lead to malfunction of
the cooling system and causes an appliance break-
down.
Clean the appliance interior including all accessory
parts. Consider the instructions which we provide in
the chapter
“Cleaning and Maintenance”
.

Temperature SETTING button
Press the SETTING- button several times to set the
desired indoor temperature in the range from
-16°C to -22°C.
The display shows the temperature selection.
The setting is saved about 5 seconds after the last
button was pressed.
After selecting the temperature, the set temperature
is always shown in the display – not the real indoor
temperature.
Switch off
Keep pressing the SETTING- button for approx.
5 seconds to switch off the appliance.
MODE button
By pressing the MODE- button several times, you
can choose between:
↪1x User setting (no lamp) → 2x Super freezing →
3x Energy saving mode↩
The corresponding control lamp lights up.
Control lock
To activate / deactivate the control lock, keep press-
ing the button combination MODE and SETTING for
approx. 3 seconds.
