Decommissioning with refrigerant CO
2
Close shut-off valves at the compressor. CO
2
does not need to be recycled and can therefore
be blown off into the environment. It is essential to ensure good ventilation or conduct the CO
2
into the outdoors to avoid danger of suffocation. When blowing off the CO
2
, use appropriate
measures to prevent oil from being carried along with it.
Loosen the fastening screws of the shut-off valves only when the compressor is
depressurized. Remove compressor with lifting gear if necessary. If the compressor is to be
scrapped, the oil must be drained and made available for recycling. Observe environmental
and national regulations!

dispose of it according to regulations. Loosen the fastening screws of the shut-off

Screwed unions
Different assembly, maintenance and repairs require interferences into the com-
pressor. Any work may be accomplished thereby only considering the initially given
safety references. The tightening of screws torques are to be considered.

Lubricants
The oil grade filled as standard in the factory is noted on the name plate. This oil grade
should be used preferabley. Alternatives to this see following lubricant table.
For enterprise with CO2 the oil support C 55 E is necessary!
